These Terms & Conditions apply to use of the MK Decor Solutions website and to enquiries made through the website. Any specific quotation or agreed painting and decorating work may also be subject to additional written terms provided with the quotation.
2. Website information
We aim to keep information on this website accurate and useful. Images, service descriptions and project examples are provided for general information and may not represent the exact finish, colour, materials, availability or requirements of every property.
3. Quotations
Website quote requests are invitations to discuss a project and are not binding offers. A final price can only be confirmed after we have enough information to understand the scope of work. Where appropriate, this may require photographs, measurements, a telephone discussion or a visit to the property.
4. Pricing and scope
Quoted prices are based on the scope, condition and information known at the time of quotation. Additional preparation, hidden defects, changes requested by the customer, extra rooms or surfaces, specialist materials or work outside the agreed scope may result in additional charges. Any material changes should be discussed before extra work proceeds.
5. Customer responsibilities
Customers are expected to provide accurate information about the property and requested work, provide reasonable access at agreed times, identify known hazards or access restrictions, and remove or secure fragile or valuable items where reasonably requested.
6. Preparation and existing surfaces
Painting results depend partly on the condition of existing surfaces. We may recommend cleaning, filling, sanding, priming or other preparation. Pre-existing issues such as damp, movement, unstable plaster, failed coatings, mould, structural defects or hidden water damage may affect the final result and may require separate remedial work.
7. Colours and finishes
Colours can appear different depending on lighting, screen settings, surrounding surfaces and paint finish. Customers should confirm their final colour and finish choices before work begins. Small differences between digital previews, printed samples and applied paint may occur.
8. Scheduling
We aim to provide realistic start and completion times, but dates may change because of weather, drying times, access issues, material availability, additional preparation or circumstances beyond reasonable control. Exterior work in particular may depend on suitable weather conditions.
9. Cancellations and changes
If you need to cancel or postpone agreed work, please contact us as early as possible. Where materials have already been specially ordered, work has begun, or costs have already been reasonably incurred for your project, those costs may still be payable where permitted by law.
10. Payment
Payment terms will normally be stated on the quotation, invoice or written project agreement. Customers should make payments using the agreed method and by the agreed date. We reserve the right to pause further work where an undisputed payment is overdue.
11. Complaints and remedial issues
If you believe there is an issue with completed work, please contact us promptly and provide reasonable details and photographs where useful. We will review genuine concerns and, where appropriate, discuss a reasonable way to address them.
12. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to applicable law, MK Decor Solutions is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses, losses caused by inaccurate information supplied by the customer, or problems arising from pre-existing defects outside the agreed scope of work.
13. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, website text, branding, design elements and original content belong to MK Decor Solutions or are used with permission. They may not be copied for commercial use without permission.
14. Privacy and cookies

15. Governing law
